On 27 June 2020 the All-African Women’s Revolutionary Union (A-AWRU) of the A-APRP organised the 2nd part of a webinar covering the issue of violence against women and girls in the Age of COVID-19. Moderated by A-AWRU cadre Thandiwe Chimurenga, the panelists featured Lawyer and Activist Nana Gyamfi, Executive Director of Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI) and PhD Candidate at University of Ghana Titilope Njayi. The webinar covered such topics as the role of African culture in enabling and fighting against the practice, the need for African women to become organised and the primary change agents to abolish Sexual Violence and the need for men to step up and become advocates against those that engage in the heinous practice of violence and all forms of abuse.
