To the biological, organizational and ideological family of
Sister-Mother Viola Plummer,
The All-African People’s Revolutionary Party (A-APRP) and its women’s wing, the All-African Women’s Revolutionary Union (A-AWRU) sends its sincerest condolences to the political and biological family of Comrade Viola Plummer, on the announcement of her transition to the ancestors.
Ancestor Viola Plummer has served as a stalwart in the African Nationalist and Anti-Imperialist Movements for the greater part of her physical existence. Her work locally in New York City and internationally, represents the highest service to the liberation struggle and the fight for a just and humane world. It also leaves a path and mechanism of continued struggle via the organization she helped co-found, the December 12th Movement.
We understand that as individuals have an impact on the movement, the movement also has an impact on the development and character of individuals inside it. That being said, as we celebrate the life and contributions of Ancestor Viola Plummer, we at the same time, also celebrate the historic, current and future contributions of the December 12th Movement.
The A-APRP/A-AWRU and the December 12th movement have long fought around some of the same battles. From being a part of the World-Wide African Anti-Zionist Front (WWAAZF) to fighting for the ending of the vicious sanctions against the Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF) and the Zimbabwe Government, as punishment for the land reclamation initiative started at the beginning of this century.
We thank our new Ancestor for her tremendous contributions and know that she will continue to struggle for the people in the ancestral realm along with the Kwame Tures, Mawina Kouyates, Coltrane Chimurengas, Sekou Odinga and many others.
READY FOR THE REVOLUTION!!!
