“WE CAN NEVER BE UNGRATEFUL TO THE CUBAN PEOPLE AND THE CUBAN REVOLUTION”
The Cuban Government, the Cuban Communist Party and the Cuban people have been under attack by the United States government since at least 1960 after liberating itself from the United States sponsored dictatorship under the Batista regime on January 1st, 1959. Why? Because it declared itself to be independent of “Yankee Imperialism” and decided to build a “Socialist/Communist State in Cuba. Yet, Cuba stands strong as a beacon of light to the masses of people throughout the world as an example of Socialist revolution and Internationalism. Despite the continued embargo, the “Special Period”, the “Mariel Boatlift”, etc. the Cuban people continue to build the Socialist State of Cuba.
Kwame Ture, the Immortal Revolutionary Pan-Africanist used to say “I can never be ungrateful”, when referring to those nations, countries, persons, etc. who contributed to the liberation of Africa and African people and the whole of humanity. In this case, Cuba, the Cuban Communist Party and many of it’s Freedom Fighters, the likes of Fidel Castro, Vilma Espin, Che Guevara, Victor Dreke, etc., have contributed immensely towards the African Revolution. Cuba sent thousands of troops to help liberate Angola and southern Africa region from apartheid settler colonialism. All Cuba asked in return was for the matyred bodies of the soldiers who fought against the apartheid regime to be returned to Cuba. We can never be ungrateful to them for what they have and continue to do for us in the All-African People’s Revolutionary Party, African people and humanity worldwide. The list of contributions would be too many to list at this point despite the embargo, sanctions, sabotage, etc. that have been in place since 1960 from U.S. and western imperialism.
The demonstrations against the government these past few days, coupled with the most recent round of sanctions in light of the current pandemic are reflections of attempts at regime change in Cuba and the whole Caribbean basin. Also, they reflect the dying U.S. empire and the greater capitalist/imperialist system.
As Malcolm X used to say, “The mainstream media is the most powerful entity in the world, it will have you believing the criminal is the victim and the victim is the criminal”. This is exactly the case with the mainstream media, which is part and parcel of the capitalist/imperialist propaganda machinery. It projects the demonstrations in Cuba against the government but fails to show the mass support for the Cuban government in the millions and the mass sup-port in countries around the world.
We in the All-African People’s Revolutionary Party can see behind the veneer of the United States led capitalist/imperialist web of lies and deceit. We will continue to stand strong in solidarity and Comradeship with the Cuban government, the Cuban people and the Cuban Revolution despite the lies from the “Yankee Imperialists”.
Kwame Ture used to also say, “The capitalists don’t lie some of the time, they lie all of the time’ the only time they tell the truth is only the result of a double lie”. We believe this to be true.
READY FOR REVOLUTION
VIVA CUBAN REVOLUTION VIVA
VENCEREMOS, PATRIO O MUERTE
Yes our actions should demand change. Mental slavery is used to over exploit Africans and it is on us to resist and help others realise how civilization is used to deprive us off our spirituality, heritage, origin and customs.
Thanks for the insights and knowledge, its a good time for the unification of all African people
