On 23rd September Pan-African Women’s Day (PAWD) brought a glorious conclusion to the week of activities organized by the A-AWRU and A-APRP commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the publication of Kwame Nkrumah‘s Handbook of Revolutionary Warfare and the founding of the All-African People’s Revolutionary Party. Pan-African Women’s Day was organised around the theme: “African Women & Migration: In Search of Economic Emancipation“. Nana Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankuma, Vice-Presidential Candidate for the Convention People’s Party (CPP) was among several special guests, which also included Bilone Tamba Na Nhasse, Secretary-General of UDEMU (Democratic Union of Women) from Guinea-Bissau.
