Brother Gilbert Bruttoh passed away in October 2011. As a polytechnic school student, he joined the All-African People's Revolutionary Party A-APRP in 2010 in the first work-study circle (the Marcus Garvey Circle) established in Wa in the Upper West Region. He contributed greatly to the success of ALD 2011 in Wa and was a key contributor to the forming of Pan-African clubs at secondary schools in the region.
