“The total liberation and unification of Africa under an All-African Socialist Government must be the primary objective of all Black revolutionaries throughout the world. It is an objective which, when achieved, will bring about the fulfillment of the aspirations of Africans and people of African descent everywhere. It will at the same time advance the triumph of the international socialist revolution, and the onward progress towards world communism, under which, every society is ordered on the principle of –from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.” — Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah

Assault on the African Liberation Movement

ASSAULT ON THE AFRICAN  LIBERATION MOVEMENT

The All-African People’s Revolutionary Party stands in solidarity with the African People’s Socialist Party (APSP) against the most recent assault against the APSP, who were indicted on April 18th, 2023 for “conspiring to covertly sow discord in U.S. society, spread Russian propaganda and interfere illegally in U.S. elections.” With no evidence provided, these members of the APSP and by association, the larger Pan-Africanist movement, were indicted. What was implied in this indictment was that members of the APSP were directed to run foreign interference in the elections in St. Petersburg, Florida at the behest of Russia —as if Africans in America can’t think for themselves or work against unjust politicians on their own!

This assault on the African liberation movement is also an assault on the “nation-class-gender” struggle that Africans are waging against imperialism and particularly against the U.S. government.

Historically, this is reminiscent of the arrest and jailing of Marcus Garvey, one of the greatest organizers of African people, by the FBI (the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigations) when the evidence provided against him in court for “mail fraud” was an empty white envelope. The bottom line is that the illegal, racist, settler colony called the “United States of America” has since its inception, terrorized and murdered Africans, indigenous, poor and working class people when it thinks its interests are being threatened.

We agree with Chairman Omali Yeshitela that whenever you speak for the rights of African people, as the APSP has done for years in the United States and abroad, you are attacked and vilified.

To start, we know that the U.S. government waged a centuries long genocide against the indigenous people of America. They lied in order to justify the theft of indigenous land and have since broken at least 500 treaties they agreed to with American Indians. They even lied to justify the theft of African people from Africa while stealing the land from American Indians!

Just as a “leopard can never change its spots”, the U.S. can’t change its nature. The nature of capitalist-imperialism is clearly being revealed today with terrorism, murder and genocide committed daily, both internationally and domestically.

The USA is a fascist state disguising itself as a welfare state. Now, with the decline of U.S. economic power, it responds with more fascistic, terrorist tactics than ever before.

We understand clearly that whoever speaks against the policies of the USA and for the interests of Africans, indigenous, and other oppressed and exploited people are ostracized, jailed, killed, assassinated, or otherwise made to disappear. This is because Africans are at war. In war, one must “know thy enemy” and the enemy is the capitalist-imperialist system.

We know that the FBI, CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) and the American injustice system are the tools used to destabilize our movement and destroy our organizations. Our call for decades has never changed: SMASH THE FBI, CIA AND THE INDUSTRIAL POLICE/MILITARY INTELLIGENCE COMPLEX (IPIC)!

Africans and all oppressed and exploited people must get politically educated and organized to build broad united fronts against fascism in the U.S. and around the world. African people must prepare for an all out assault against the capitalist-imperialist system. Part of this preparation is to stand with the African people’s socialist movement and all others who fight for our people’s unity, justice and freedom.

Tell the imperialists to keep their bloody hands off the APSP! When you attack them, you attack us, because in this noble struggle for our people’s redemption, WE ARE ONE.

HANDS OFF APSP!

SMASH THE FBI & CIA!

DEATH TO CAPITALISM AND IMPERIALISM!

LONG LIVE THE AFRICAN PEOPLE’S SOCIALIST MOVEMENT
