“The total liberation and unification of Africa under an All-African Socialist Government must be the primary objective of all Black revolutionaries throughout the world. It is an objective which, when achieved, will bring about the fulfillment of the aspirations of Africans and people of African descent everywhere. It will at the same time advance the triumph of the international socialist revolution, and the onward progress towards world communism, under which, every society is ordered on the principle of –from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.” — Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah

A-APRP Solidarity Statement on the Physical Disappearance of “Tata Madiba” Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela

Comrades of the ANC, South African Communist Party and the Mandela family

The All-African People’s Revolutionary Party (A-APRP) celebrates the eternal life of Comrade Madiba who on 5 December 2013, transitioned from the ANC in South Africa to the eternal Branch of the ANC where he is reunited with his wise tutor, Walter Sisulu. They are together with Kwame Nkrumah, Amilcar Cabral, Sékou Touré, Steve Biko, Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe, Bambata and all revolutionaries who live on in those struggling for a liberated, unified and socialist Africa; for Humanity.

We salute a legendary symbol who loved Africa as much as he loved South Africa. We salute a comrade member who served in the Central Committee of the South African Communist Party. A comrade who gave a lifetime of struggle through the African National Congress in various leadership positions, from the Youth League to being part of the ANC leadership collective. He exhibited revolutionary love with more than 70 years of service in the ANC, a colossus, an epitome of humility, equality, justice, peace and the hope of millions.

In his book “The Struggle is My Life”, Tata Madiba instructs us; “…the people of Asia and Africa have seen through the slanderous campaign conducted by the U.S.A. against the Socialist countries. They know that their independence is threatened not by any of the countries in the Socialist camp but by the U.S.A., who has surrounded their continent with military bases. The Communist bogey is an American stunt to distract the attention of the people of Africa from the real issue facing them, namely, American imperialism..” (pp 76)

He has passed the baton to the younger generation of his beloved movement, the ANC; the youth of Africa and the progressive world to carry on with the vision of bringing about an equal and just society. The ANC must continue this task as set forth by him and those of his generation, living and deceased. The Democratic Revolution must be intensified!

He lives in each and every one of you, because he gave of himself to all. The greatest tribute we can pay to Tata Madiba is by organizing the masses to intensify our contributions to the total liberation of all of Africa, its unification with scientific socialism.

Amandla ngawethu!

All power to the people!
