The All-African People's Revolutionary Party (A-APRP) serves as an active organizational member of the Black Alliance for Peace (BAP). During the month of October, we participated in the International Month of Action Against Africom. The month long campaign was highlighted by virtual webinars, mass actions and public events, designed to raise the profile of the dangerous nature of AFRICOM (U.S. Africa Command), as well as the growing mass resistance against its intrusions into the African homeland.
Some of the A-APRP initiatives during the month, included A-APRP cadre organizers presenting at a #ShutDownAFRICOM event in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S. on 15 October 2022 on the Topic: Beyond Colonialism: AFRICOM and the neocolonial Grip on Africans Globally.
The A-APRP also organized teach-ins at San Jose State University in San Jose, California, U.S. (26 October) and at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Urbana, Illinois, U.S. (27 October) in conjunction with student activist groups on the respective campuses.
During our A-APRP Southwest "Weekly Pan-African News" edition on 27 October, presented on the subject: "AFRICOM: Imperialist Militarization of the Continent". The episode is available here:
The Pantsula Podcast from our Ka-Ji Work-Study collective just launched the latest podcast entitled: "AFRICOM & U.S. Democracy". The full podcast is available here:
While the month of action is officially over, the fight to raise the consciousness of our people and the world against the scourge of AFRICOM, NATO and the other military commands of the Police-Military-Intelligence-Complex continues. People are encouraged to continue organizing campaigns, protests and mass actions against AFRICOM. For more information, please view the AFRICOM2022 page on the Black Alliance for Peace Website
