The All-African People’s Revolutionary Party (A-APRP) thanks you for commemorating African Liberation Day. Throughout Africa and the African Diaspora this special day provides an opportunity to take stock of the challenges that confront Africa and Africans, and to engage in political education and organizing work necessary to meet those challenges.
To guide and focus its ALD-related work, each year the A-APRP selects a theme. This year, the A-APRP issues a call to action by declaring: “Imperialism and Neo-Colonialism Must Be Destroyed! Africans Stand Ready for the Revolution” Our task in 2023 is to ensure that Africans everywhere understand the threat that imperialism and neo-colonialism pose to our efforts to achieve liberation.
In our ever expanding efforts to bring into fruition what Ancestor Kwame Ture called for, 'Wherever there is an African, there must be African Liberation Day', the A-APRP/A-AWRU is proud to be organizing ALD commemorations this year in Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Azania/South Africa, Swaziland, Germany, England, France and various parts of the U.S. In addition, we will be hosting an International webinar on 25 May 2023 at 4:00pm UTC | 7:00pm Nairobi | 6:00pm Soweto | 5:00pm Lagos | 12:00pm New York | 11:00am Chicago | 9:00am Los Angeles
