From 17 September to 23 September the year long commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the publication of the Handbook of Revolutionary Warfare by Kwame Nkrumah, and the subsequent founding of the All-African People’s Revolutionary Party (A-APRP) that Nkrumah called for in the Handbook, will culminate in Ghana, West Africa. Africans from different parts of Africa and the diaspora have been arriving in Ghana in recent days for the week of activities including a 2 Day Conference on the Handbook of Revolutionary Warfare, Forums for High School and University Students around Pan-Africanism and concluding with the Annual Pan-African Women’s Day (PAWD) organized by the A-APRP Women’s Wing, the All-African Women’s Revolutionary Union (A-AWRU) and the A-APRP.
In Guinea-Bissau the A-APRP Sister Party, the African Party for Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde (PAIGC), their Women’s Wing Democratic Union of Women (UDEMU) and Youth Wing Amilcar Cabral Africa Youth (JAAC) held a political seminar around Nkrumah’s Handbook on 15th September 2018. JAAC will also organize an external seminar in Guinea-Bissau in conjunction with the A-APRP Handbook of Revolutionary Warfare Seminar in Ghana and broadcast on Facebook Live from the Facebook JAAC page
