During 2018 the All-African People’s Revolutionary Party (A-APRP) and the All-African Women’s Revolutionary Union (A-AWRU) have been commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the publication of the seminal work “Handbook of Revolutionary Warfare” by Kwame Nkrumah in 1968. In the book he called for the formation of the A-APRP, which was founded in the same year in Guinea-Conakry under Co-Presidents Ahmed Sekou Toure and Nkrumah.
Continuing the commemoration the A-APRP/A-AWRU is organising a series of events around the time of Kwame Nkrumah’s birthday. From Pan-African Women’s Day to University and High School forums to a 2 day Seminar focusing on the Handbook of Revolutionary Warfare. A summary of activities are below.
This will be truly a Pan-African celebration as people from all over Ghana, other parts of West Africa, East Africa, Southern Africa and North America will be participating. All events are free and open to the public.
